job description - Business Development Executive / Lead Generator


  • Familiarizing with all the products and services offered by Buckler Systems is key.
  • Develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, product offering of B.O.S and that of her competitors.
  • Attending Networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
  • Creates marketing strategies, including budget planning, content creation, and implementation schedules.
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
  • Develop a rapport with existing and new customers, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
  • Build a wide relationship with such as Corporate Bodies, Federal & State Parastatals, etc. to build the right networks and allow speedy growth for B.O.S.
  • Produce and review SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis to ensure B.O.S is at a competitive advantage.
  • Work with team to develop proposals and strategies that speaks to the customer’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Works with the management team in spearheading the company’s expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
  • Attend industry functions, such as events, conferences, work gatherings, and provide feedback and information on the market.
  • Works with the wider management team to identify creative and innovative commercial & marketing solutions to maximise ROI.
  • Prepare quarterly presentations to discuss business performance.
  • Attends exhibitions to improve company visibility.
  • Develops and Implements Marketing Budget.
  • Create a robust marketing strategy to maximise revenue, in line with the business objectives.
  • Interpreting Market trends and adapting to industry changes
  • Making customer experience topmost priority by training and development of team members in relevant areas.
  • Conducting surveys to understand customer needs and areas of development in the business
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Along with the HR Department, set KPI’s for team members.
  • Product placement in fashion magazines/media as well as advertorial creation.
  • Works with the internal team to develop strategies that speaks to customer’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Manages existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
  • Submits weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Manages customer’s orders and come up with business plans.
  • Conducts research on retail market and industry trends.
  • Works closely with the business unit managers when responding to customers to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues and the current competition on the program.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
