job description - Chef


  • We are looking for a Chef that is highly experienced in the preparation, and presentation of African and intercontinental dishes according to the best and most professional practices.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
  • Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer.
  • Managing and working closely with other Chefs at all levels
  • Creating menu items, and recipes and developing dishes, ensuring variety and quality
  • Determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering
  • Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND qualification with at least 2 years of work experience.
