- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to inform content development and optimization.
- Create high-quality written, visual, and audio content across multiple platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and podcasts.
- Optimize content for search engines and user engagement, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Track and analyze content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversions, and use data to inform future content strategy.
- Manage and maintain content calendars and ensure timely and consistent delivery of content.
- Continuously experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to drive innovation and engagement.
- Conduct regular performance analyses and reports of the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy.
- Setting smart goals for digital media campaigns.
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Social Media Manager.
- Proven work experience as a Content Creator or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Excellence in producing video content is an added advantage
- Samples of content created with active links
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
- Time-management skills
- Familiarity with SEO and Social Media Algorithm
- Close proximity to Lekki, Victoria Island, Yaba, Oworoshoki, Gbagada etc
