job description - E-commerce Manager
- Responsible for managing the online presence of the business to expand customer base.
- The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of ecommerce product management.
- Through managing the overall web process, this individual will own and execute the product assortment strategy needed to maximize sales, customer acquisition and retention.
Responsiblities
- Implement strategies to encourage sales on online platforms.
- Transform social media sites to profitable platforms.
- Responsible for regular reporting on website performance and customer experience metrics-optimizing site operations,
- Identify opportunities, and suggesting strategies to achieve sales growth.
- Own daily reporting for web performance-tracking all major KPI to plan
- Strategically plan product collections, pages, content updates and featured shops based on inventory needs and marketing priorities
- Responsible for optimizations to navigation, collections, search, and homepage
- Plan marketing calendar
- Support paid social team with updates around product launches, collaborations, selling reports.
- Monitor competitive landscape and site benchmarks.
- Own web processes including: content updates, merchandising, promotional updates, and QA.
- Manage product launch calendar
- Work closely with internal resources to create products and launch on site.
- Must be up to date with relevant trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry will be highly desirable
- Expert understanding of Excel (advanced reporting), PC Skills, including MS Office, and MS Outlook
- Merchandising, accounting, and/or business experience a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, dealing with ambiguity.
