About the Role

What will you do?
- Create, agree, communicate and implement the ICT strategy and plans for the school.
- Analyze the requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies that may be of benefit to the school and incorporate them into plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Provide leadership on all ICT operations and infrastructure within the School, and ensure that a standard technical support framework is available, including the management and delivery of services.
- Manage relationships with vendors and create cost-efficient contracts.
- Manage ICT expenditure in line with the approved budget.
- Define and implement ICT policies, procedures, and best practices in accordance with the school’s needs.
- Be present in staff meetings and related activities, and attend workshops to keep up-to-date with ICT issues.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Give orientation and support the daily operational activities of the ICT department and school.
- Provide professional advice and technical support to staff students and others in the school community.
About You
- You have BSc. in Computer Science or a related field. Masters
- You have a minimum experience of 5 years working in IT Management.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You have Planning and organizational skills.
- You have Strong Leadership skills
- You can work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience working with educational organizations.
- Experience working with social impact organizations or not-for-profits.
