Profile

As an Investment Analyst at V8 Capital partners, you will be expected to support the Investment team. We are looking for individuals who are result-oriented, enthusiastic self-starters and motivated with an ability to work independently and proactively. We seek applicants that elude confidence, positivity, high energy and can interact with senior management. Flexible and willing to be involved in different aspects of the business as required.

Responsibilities:

The Analyst duties at V8 Capital include but are not limited to:

1. Deal Sourcing – gathering information on happenings in the industry

• Network with investment bankers, eco-system players and other associates
• Call and/or meet with prospects, evaluate opportunities

2. Deal Due-Diligence

• Industry and Company research
• Financial and Valuation Analysis
• Research and liaise with technical/consultants to evaluate the target company’s technology IP
• Help prepare internal investment memos

3. Portfolio Management

• Engage with the Management team of portfolio companies to prepare investment reports for LPs in our funds
• Support portfolio companies based on their relevant needs (Business Development, Market Expansion Strategy, etc.)

4. Others

• Support fundraising efforts; including responses to due diligence questions
• Taking initiatives in spotting and responding to the needs of the investment team

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in either consulting, investment banking, venture capital or private equity
• Strong academic performance and educational background from a reputable institution
• Experience with modelling and investment valuation techniques
• Ability to produce well designed professional looking PowerPoint presentations
• Strong verbal and communications skills
• Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
