• Monitoring and executing the installation of Bulk Water conveyance system / Drip irrigation system as per Design and Specifications.
• Monitoring the receipt of materials from the supplier as per BOQ and specifications required.
• Cross-checking the quality of materials, Materials delivery follow-ups
• Daily follow-up on work execution standard and Periodical update on work progress. If any deviation escalates the issues immediately to the next level.
• Mobilization of the required contractors/men and machine power.
• Daily progress assessment and substantiate the requirement to complete the project in time.
• Commissioning and testing the system output as per design standards.
• Preparation of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals for easy understanding and execution of operational and maintenance personnel.
• Preparing the annual budget for the irrigation system operations and maintenance.
• Monitoring the Maintenance (Operation) of the Drip Irrigations system and Automation system.
• Monitoring overall activities of Irrigation system to ensure the crop water demand.
• Organizing the skilled and unskilled manpower to operate the system as per design standards.
• Follow up on the availability of spares for the maintenance of the irrigation system after installation.
• Execution follow-up on fertigation schedule as per recommendation.
• Monitoring the power consumption/water use efficiency and generating daily report progress for analysis.
• Coordinating with Agric manager and irrigation staff to develop a budget and implement plans for preventive, scheduled, and emergency repairs, as well as upgrading irrigation system.
• Follow up on the preventive maintenance of the drip irrigation system.
• Ensuring the availability and use of PPE wherever applicable.
• Periodical training of irrigation staff on irrigation system operations and maintenance.
• Monitoring and reviewing the cane pro report on drip irrigation schedule and actuals / Spares issue / Pump operations.
• Any other duties assigned by Head of Agric.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 10 - 15 years of experience.
