The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing the company’s products. The position will also be responsible for growing the revenue generated from the products to an agreed level by building, a robust clientele through working with the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and field sales.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
• Build revenue and expense budgets tied to business development plans for each product in the product portfolio.
• Identify sales prospects, grow relationships with potential clients and pitch the product.
• Continually plan and oversee new marketing initiatives by working with the company’s sales unit, to develop and manage all publicity and awareness programs that will aid the promotion of the company's product.
• Build sales plans containing product strategy, go-to-market plans, price & product positioning for each of the company’s products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or any related course
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in business development, with three (3) years experience in B2B Sales.
• Industry experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
