This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space joining us as Manager, Customer Solutions Consultant, leading our customer engagements, joining our Sales team.

The position

You will own, drive and build our Engagement Programme in EMEA, together with your team of Customer Solution Consultants. The Customer Solution function is a pre-post sales function in our sales team that enables the sales team to move new deals through the pipeline more quickly, as well as being able to take current deals and grow them to something more substantial.

Partner with Sales Managers in EMEA to help address customer business goals and requirements.

Develop a deep understanding of Remote's offerings, inner workings and navigating of cross-functional teams to resolve customer needs during the sales cycle.

Be the expert in the customer journey at Remote.

Collaborate with other internal teams to identify and document necessary information to accelerate pipeline and deal closing.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of management experience
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • 5+ years of international sales experience
  • Ability to understand requirements of the sales team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment including startups
  • Proven ability to grow a global team with high standards of success and career advancement
  • Strategic mindset with an understanding of how to functionally execute
  • Leadership across multiple reports on a distributed basis
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • Experience working remotely is considered a plus
  • Previous experience working for a global technology company
  • Experience working in global HR industry

Key responsibilities

  • You have experience managing a team of Customer Solution Consultants, or similar.
  • You understand Remote's vision and business model and are highly motivated to contribute to our growth.
  • You possess a good understanding of sales cycles, sales processes, customer journey and customer success.
  • You have the drive to structure, scale and package customer engagement initiatives
  • You have a proven track record of successfully mentoring direct reports on book prioritisation, planning and execution of customer enablement activities.
  • You understand how to drive change and transformation with our customers.
  • You enjoy being a champion and will help ensure the Sales team members delight customers as we experience hyper-growth.
  • You are an excellent storyteller.
  • You respond with urgency to detailed customer inquiries.
  • You bring precision, accuracy and kindness to your interactions.

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote’s Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair unbiased compensation and fair play along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. We do not agree to or encourage cheap-labour practices and therefore pay a minimum annual salary of USD 40,000 per year, in all locations throughout the world. Actual compensation may vary based upon geographical location, experience, and/or skill level. However, it will never be below our minimum global compensation mentioned.
