- We require the services of a competent and experienced Managing Director, who will provide excellent strategic leadership and assume the responsibility for the successful management of its businesses as listed above.
- The individual should be capable of managing affiliate companies and businesses under our client’s portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the profitability of the subsidiaries including other affiliate businesses as may be delegated by the Board from time to time.
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain set goals.
- Supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
- Provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans.
- Plan cost-effective operations and market development activities.
- Overseeing the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures.
- Establish company policies and guidelines.
- Build long term, trusting relationships with shareholders, business partners and regulatory authorities
- Ensure a positive work environment.
- Ensure periodic performance appraisals, trainings, and professional developments activities for all employees.
- Execute public speaking and representational appearances in a professional manner.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company’s viability, survival, and growth.
- Develop a sustainable company culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master's in Business Administration or similar relevant field.
- Previous working experience as Managing Director, Executive Director, or a major management position in the last two years.
- Hands on experience in developing strategies and business plans.
- In depth knowledge of educational establishments and its management.
- Ability to groom a community of technology professionals.
- Must have a niche for Product Design, Management and Business Development.
- Familiarity with corporate law and managements’ best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
