job description - Pastry Chef


  • Our client is recruiting candidates that will turn the pastry section to an effective profit center and capable of achieving both their revenue and profit target as par the annual budget from time to time.
  • We are looking for exceptional candidates with cognate experience, male, aged between 35 years to 45 years, married; living in Abuja, Nigeria (is an added advantage).
  • Must be good team players, team management, kitchen facilities and cost management and inter-personal relation.

Summary

  • The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:
    • Directing the pastry costing, production process and delegating tasks.
    • Ensure compliance with all standard and procedure and achieving production and preparing high quality pastry items.

Core Activities:

  • Takes responsibility with respect to the Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to create menu for pastry items, recipes and develop pastry products.

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Social Sciences.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of cognate experience in 5 star hotel.
