Quality Control Inspector

• As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure that all clothing is of premium quality and designed to the specific needs of every respective client.
• This involves the pre-production, production, post-production and packaging stage.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative ways to ensure efficiency without compromising the quality of work delivery.
• Ensure that all clothing materials that have been prepared each fit the required measurements.
• Oversee the preparation of clothing items across the various stages of production to ensure that they are designed in line with the demands of the clients.
• Ensure that clothing items are properly folded during the ironing and neatly packaged before delivery.
• Improve client feedback by checking for errors during and after the production of clothing items.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in clothing styling and design.
• Note common, regular or repetitive errors and develop ways to fix them.
• Ensuring that staff members always use the worksheets when sewing clothing materials.

Qualifications

• SSCE qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a quality control officer, tailoring supervisor or related role.
• Significant interest in fashion and strong fashion sense.
• Adequate knowledge of tailoring and design.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
