  • We are looking for a stellar, friendly, well-spoken Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.
  • As a SDR, you will assist Tenaui Africa Limited in expanding our client base.
  • You’ll be the first line of communication between the company and prospects.
  • As an SDR, you will share our message, build professional relationships, and generate new business for the company.
  • You’ll also work closely with sales leaders to research and develop call strategies, messaging and territory development.
  • To be a successful SDR, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical skills.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Navigate companies to find the right prospects and deliver compelling messaging.
  • Leverage sales tools, to effectively manage your lists by emails, dials, and social selling techniques to generate new sales pipeline.
  • Initiate contact with potential customers by making cold-calls and developing email campaigns.
  • Create relationships with prospects to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Research companies to determine fit as a potential Tenaui Africa limited customer.
  • Schedule high-quality meetings and product demonstrations.
  • Sit in on meetings you’ve scheduled with an Account Executive.
  • Create and develop new opportunities for your pipeline.
  • Effectively pass warm leads to the sales team.
  • Use your creativity to develop.
  • Coordinating with your branch manager to meet performance standards.
  • Acting as a consultant to your clients by providing solutions and support for their needs all while ensuring that they receive the most utility from our products.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business related fields.
  • Have 3 - 4 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically.
  • Highly organized with good time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great active-listening skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection or criticism.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly skilled in negotiation and persuasion.
  • Patient and able to practice good phone etiquette.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Experience using a CRM.
  • Determination and drive for growth
  • Sales experience in the copier and printing industry is a plus(Can sales large format printers, printing press etc.).
  • Having successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous.
