Description


  • The ideal role holder will be responsible for managing the sales team and coordinating sales activities.
  • The role will also be responsible for allocating weekly and monthly sales targets to the sales team, review daily performance reported by the team and monitor market credits while ensuring adherence to credit policy.
  • The position holder will conduct and coordinate outlet survey done by sales representatives and also monitor implementation of activation and visibility initiatives in the market and compare survey results with coverage target.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage implementation of sales strategy with the goal of evaluating performance daily,
  • Report any record of allocated products and promotional items to the KD
  • Employ SKUs to determine which products requires reordering and provide sales data
  • Review daily performance reported by all sales representative in the KD outlet dashboard
  • Gather information on competition and advise management accordingly
  • Utilise SKUs to improve consumer experiences on an online sales platform.
  • Ensure coordination between KDs, delivery team, and merchandisers
  • Effectively handle customer escalations and manage customer objections
  • Proactively manage the reconciliation of products stock levels.
  • Monitor pricing & ensure application of correct prices at POS
  • Organise and coordinate sales representatives’ schedules
  • Monitor implementation of activation and visibility initiatives in the market
  • Control FIFO model for products and take necessary actions with responsible people at store level
  • Evaluate and report the leverage of field budgets per POS
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of stocks and cash deposit by sales team.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a Sales Supervisor preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Strong knowledge of market/competitive activities or analysis
  • Proactive and strong sense of urgency for reaching sales goals
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
  • Creative thinking and ability to come up with new ideas to improve sales techniques, strategy, and customer service standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
