job description - Software Project Manager
- Implementing software life-cycle methodology
- Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
- Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
- Conducting risk assessments for projects
- Coordinating the roll-out of beta and production releases
- Inspecting projects for quality assurance
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with clients
- Developing schedules and methods for measuring results
Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or B.Tech. in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science or related courses.
- Certification in Project management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of one year of working experience as a Software/IT project assistant/manager.
- Experience in software development is a plus.
- Experience in data analysis or information technology is also required.
- S/he should have good knowledge of software project management tools such as Trello, ClickUp, Asana, MS project, Google Sheets etc., and be familiar with agile development.
- An ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
- Business strategy aptitude.
- Decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience with remote work, great attention to detail & highly organized, Project Planning and Execution, Requirements Gathering, and Estimation skills.
