job description - Team Lead, HR Strategy


  • The Team Lead, HR Strategy is charged with planning and implementing Human Resources initiatives in support of the Group’s organizational culture, to deliver the bank's objectives, and to attract and retain excellent staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with facilitating the design and implementation of strategies and policies aimed at planning and managing the organisation’s workforce and ensuring proper balance between personal and organisational goals.
  • Drive the implementation of the end to end performance management process
  • Responsible for talent sourcing as well as build a talent pipeline.
  • Manage the Graduate Trainee Program
  • Develop people-oriented programs to positively impact change and employee engagement; understand and solicit employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns.
  • Review/ maintain/ update the bank's structure, job descriptions and manning levels of the bank in line with business need and requirement.
  • Develop and track key HR metrics; Conduct regular surveys on HR best practices and Competitors’ analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of the department’s annual budget and monitor its implementation.
  • Champion the documentation of periodic management reports such as HR reports to the Board staff leave, turn-over, etc. for management decision-making.
  • Continually review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the department’s policies, procedures and processes with a view to identify improvement opportunities leveraging technology and ensure alignment with leading practices.
  • Prepare and regularly update the training calendar for the bank in conjunction with heads of divisions, departments, and units.
  • Ensure organization wide HR - specific customer satisfaction surveys are conducted and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the timely implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
  • Anticipate emerging trends on HR issues within the assigned portfolio and define responses using visionary concepts within the overall HR strategy.
  • Coordinate staff placement on the bank structure and development of career and succession plans.
  • Act on behalf of, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Enterprise Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Relevant Experience in Human Resources
  • Recognized professional certifications in Human Resources/Communications
  • Minimum of 3Recognized professional certifications in Human Resources/Communications
